The Lake Bonavista Community Association operates a Recreation Centre within the Lake Bonavista/Bonaventure boundaries, which include two indoor ice rinks, a gym, a fitness studio and a variety of meeting/social rooms
The Community’s initiatives includes sports programs such as; Basketball, Soccer, Ice Hockey and other programs including adult fitness, yoga and tennis etc. The Lake Bonavista Figure Skating Club operates through this facility. Other special events are planned throughout the year.
Many other programs are available at the Centre by other Associations.
The Association’s volunteer Board is the eyes, ears and voice for the Community.
