The Lake Bonavista Community Association (LBCA) is represented by a volunteer Board of Directors elected annually by it's
membership. The Non-Profit Association operates a 65,000 square foot recreation complex offering social programs, sports programs,
and physical fitness programs to its membership. The programs offered, physical facilities available and the business of
LBCA is extensive and the success of these activities is greatly dependant on the efforts of a very large number of
volunteers together with the capable office and building maintenance staff.
This
web site is intended to provide the
membership with sufficient advance
notice of programs offered, program
rates, and social activities to help
the membership plan there activities
at the "Rec Center". There are
several new programs included on
this year's menu and we encourage
the membership to identify other
programs and enhancements to
existing programs.
While
every attempt has been made to
ensure accuracy of contents,
unforeseen circumstances between the
time the the web page has been made
and registration may necessitate
minor changes in the program
schedule and rates.

We
are operated by annually elected
volunteer Board of Directors,
assisted by a very large number
of volunteers. Working along
with them is a General Manager
and staff.

Membership is available at a
cost of $30 per family per year
and is required for
participation in community
sponsored programs.

The
objective of each activity is to
"break even" each year.

LBCA
sponsors the 144th Scouting
Group.

Our
entrance signs to the Community
are maintained by the
Association through membership
fees.

Delivery of our monthly
newsletter "The Bugle" is
delivered to all single family
homes in Lake Bonavista,
Bonaventure Estates and
Bonavista Downs Communities.
